About the authors of the website.
We are a couple from Lyon who accidentally discovered the West Coast Swing a market day by taking a flyer of a dance school on the Boulevard de la Croix-Rousse! We had never done a couple dance before and we were pleasantly surprised to discover a social dance on modern music that speaks to us because it is related to the world in which we live.
We met a group of outstanding dancers in our school with whom we have bonded a strong friendship and benevolence in learning this dance. After the work of the bases in the first year, we have increased our pace of classes, evenings and courses to satisfy our desire to progress and take more pleasure. To dance west coast swing is like living a daydream, feel good, better know your own body, exceed its limits, connect to the now, the positive and the world because dancing west coast swing it’s also an opportunity to travel! You will understand that west coast swing has become our passion after a year and after a trip back to the US West Coast, we wanted to share our passion with this website.
We want to share events, parties, courses, and kindness between dancers.
West coast swing is also travels, first in the cities and regions of France and also in foreign countries, the opportunity to make beautiful trips combining discoveries, landscapes, culture, photography ….
….And of course all trips and social events or competitions lead primarily to meetings between dancers, with teachers, with champions, with human beings !
